Installment #1:
In the 90s, there are 10 major corporations that make up over 20% of all profit in the United States, the largest of which, along with national banks, pay little or no corporate taxes.
Today there are less than a dozen corporations that own the three largest television networks, and 62 radio networks.
While the profits of large corporations continued to climb since the 70s, the income of middle and lower class americans was steadily decreasing.
By the 90s, the number of billionaires in the U.S tripled, and the number of homeless citizens doubled.
100% of the increase in wealth went to the richest 20% of the population, as did 75% of the income growth.
Since the 70s, the poorest 20% of the population saw a decrease in household income at an average rate of 1% annually.
As the workers income declined, the salaries of corporate leaders rose.
